Dec. 9 – I LOVE swimming!

I’m not sure if this counts as my secondary interest.  It’s probably my first, but let’s pretend (for the sake of this blog) that Alpine Skiing is my primary interest and swimming is my secondary.  If skiing were my primary interest, I’d likely have everything I wanted for skiing.  I’d have all the gear, the lift tickets, and the display cases for my trophies.  So, if swimming were my secondary interest, I probably wouldn’t have the goggles, the swim cap, the artwork of early 21st century swimmers from Montreal, The Joy of Swimming book, my favorite Nike swim jacket that I’ve had the zipper replaced in 3 times, and the GoToobs full of haircare and sunscreen. (BTW...GoToobs Rock!) Anyway, I digress.  If I didn’t have any of this stuff, I’d totally appreciate the swimming gifts.  And, if it turned out I already had something that was thoughtfully selected – then I could “regift” the present to a swimming buddy.  What I’m trying to say is - think about a person’s secondary hobby or interest.
